Dreamer

School started this past week and it's been a bit of an adjustment. Not only is it hard to schedule ample time to take photographs for the blog but its been FREEZING out, which makes it even more difficult. The cold is unbearable and leaves me uninterested in dressing cute. Once I get back in the swing of things, you all will be the first to know. I have lots of outfit ideas in my head and I can't wait to share them soon with you. Between school and work, I've also been thinking a lot about the future. Thinking about what a dream job of mine would be, where I see myself in the next five years; things of that nature. I have the horrible, yet sometimes useful, habit of planning uncontrollably. From outfits and parties to my non-existent wedding; it is only natural for me to have some ideas of what I'd like my future to hold. I love fashion, but there are also other things in life I'm really passionate about. For starters, I am obsessed with photo booths. Before I graduate I'd love to intern for a company like Magbooth or Smilebooth; but I was also thinking about the possibility of starting my own company. Not that I even would know where to even start (I'm assuming I'd have to build a photo booth) but how cool it would be to operate my own photo booth company and continuing to blog as well. I don't know what the future has in store but for now I'll just share with you some of my favorite photo booth moments.

Snow Bunny

Coat, Sweater & Booties: Dolce Vita

I received this fur coat about a month ago from work. At first I was a little skeptical if I would even wear it and although I'm pro faux, I couldn't deny the opportunity to wear something so warm and fashionable. It's cold, it snowed, I got to bundle up in my coat and now it can be springtime.

Black&White

Sweater: Free People, Shoes: Dolce Vita, Tee & Leggings: American Apparel

No matter what colors of clothing I have in my closet, I always seem to lean towards black and white. Even though this outfit was simple, I loved the textures it had. These spotted calf hair slip-ons are my go to shoe and this coat/sweater duster from Free People is my new obsession; I was never so excited to get a package in the mail as I was awaiting it's arrival and I never want to take it off.

Mantra Monday

No matter what today has in store for you, enjoy it! Whether you have off from school, have to go in to work or are meeting up with a friend for lunch, enjoy it.  Mondays may suck, but start the week off on a positive note. Enjoy today and more good days are sure to follow.

Birthday Suit

In true Thursday fashion, here is a little bit of a throwback. As you may or may not know, last Wednesday was my 21st birthday! I feel so lucky to have gotten to spend such a great day with my friends and family. Even though bad weather prevented us from celebrating in the city over the weekend; I still had the best birthday ever. From inhaling banana chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast to taking my first legal shot (with my parents none-the-less) and not to mention to gorgeous diamond earrings from my parents along with the watch that my late Grandmother wore on her wedding day; my 21st was beyond compare.

Mantra Monday

I'm going to keep it short and sweet today; your reality can be better than your dreams if you work for them. There are plenty of morning where I just want to sleep or at least lay in bed for hours longer, and sometimes I do; but the only person that can make your dreams come true is yourself so you have to make the decision to continue to sleep with your dreams, or wake up and chase them.

My Favorite

If there was an outfit that I could wear everyday, it would be high waisted skinny jeans, a big sweater and black boots. I'm a firm believer that you can never have too many sweaters. To me, a comfy sweater can completely change your mood. There's just something about it; feeling like your wrapped in a blanket, but looking presentable enough to be seen in public. The past week's snow is gone but it's freezing out, so put on those sweaters and stay warm!

Celebrate

Today I turn 21! I'm feeling a bit older but I'm excited to start this new (and legal) chapter of my life. No matter if it's your birthday or not, start everyday like it's your birthday. Wake up thankful to be alive and happy for the things you've experienced. Today will be spent with friends and family with whom I couldn't picture my life without; whether they've been by my side since birth or for the past few years. Cake and champagne are not just for birthdays; everyday is a celebration of life.
And with all the people on this planet, it has to be someone's birthday somewhere.

Merry and Bright

Sweater: Dolce Vita, Dress: Brandy Melville, Socks: Free People, Boots: Steve Madden

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and a happy new year. I've been kind of obsessed with socks lately; more specifically high socks. For Christmas eve I chose to wear something that was both appropriate for church, fancy enough for the holiday and comfortable enough to just hangout on the couch with my family. And when wearing a green sweater on Christmas, nothing would pair better than a bright right lip.
